We do not rush our work for this reason. When you schedule a service, you are more than just a work order to us. You are a customer that deserves our highest priority, because of this we only perform the highest quality of work, no shortcuts taken. Our pricing is discussed upfront, and we do not charge per hour this ensures transparency and a clear mind knowing your getting thorough, detailed workmanship without the lingering costs. You do not pay us for labor until after we complete the work!
3. Half of the job is completing the work, the other half is making our customers smile:
A big inspiration for me when starting Hypernova was my past experiences taking care of customers. During my time as a Field Technician at Spectrum, one of my favorite parts of the workday was making the customer smile. Such a simple concept but one that is very significant. A customer should feel comfortable, confident, and proud with their decision to pick your company for service, and a smile says all that without even saying a word!

We hope to be Hawai’i’s “go-to” tech solution for all electronics-centric work, and IT related issues. We have a fire lit underneath us to accomplish this, and we know our work will say the same. Ben
Founder / Lead technician
Ben, Hypernova founder and technician, is a first generation American, with Afro-Cuban roots, that he holds deep, and is proudly represented. He served four years in the United States Air Force prior. In addition, Ben worked two years as a Field Technician at Spectrum serving North Hawai’i Island. Serving the community has always been very important for him. But what exactly made Ben start Hypernova? It all started as a dream as a kid to do what he loved, but for a living. Ben's parents will tell you best that from a young age, he would take apart any electronic he could get his hands on for the sake of exploration and tinkering. There were a lot of broken things in the beginning of his tinker journey, but that came with a lot of experience along the way. A challenge in electronics wasn't a deterrent, but a motivation, to learn from failure and bounce back, and be better. With a decade and a half of electronics experience and a lot of success, what better way to do this all then with Hypernova, where the people will be taken care of. That was the spark that started this all.

How does your service work?
At Hypernova we take pride in our quality and workmanship. What does that mean for our customers? You can rest assured that you are getting top notch quality that is not rushed at affordable prices. We are a mobile service, meaning we come to you, from there we can pick up and deliver electronics that we build, repair, or modify. If possible, we may be able to perform on-sight repair. If we cannot perform on-sight repair then electronics will need to be transported to our establishment for labor. We take pride in our workmanship and thorough service, because of this we provide a "No Worries" 60 day service warranty on all of our services. In this warranty period, we will resolve any reoccurring issues pertaining to the original service we provided free of charge. Our warranty will not resolve physical damages caused by customer including but not limited to damages from drops, liquid, or any other induced damage, We have the right to deny a warranty if it is suspected to be induced physical damage from the customer, we will fix if we deny a warranty but you will be charged the price of the service(s). All fees including the Mobile Service Fee are waived for all "No Worries" warranty related services.
How much does it cost?
We have two pricing structures depending on what our customer needs. To streamline the appointment process we have various pre-priced services under our "Store" page. If the service you need is not found in our store, then you will have to fill out a service inquiry form to get a quote of requested service(s) by clicking the "Schedule Service" button on the top-right corner of our website. Prices are based on the information a customer provides on the “Schedule Service” form. Any information that is not disclosed in the “Schedule Service” form is subject to a price adjustment based on all services that will be performed for the customer. If this occurs we will generate a “Service Adjustment Agreement” form, showing a pricing adjustment to the work order and a detailed reasoning for the price change. If the customer agrees to adjustment of pricing of services, they will sign and opt to ‘Agree’ in the “Service Adjustment Agreement” form. The customer has a right to decline the services discussed in a price change by signing and opting to ‘Decline’ in the “Service Adjustment Agreement” form, in which customer acknowledges that only the work that they originally submitted will be completed even if it does not resolve their original inquiry. In any scenario of a pricing adjustment work will not be started until the customer has filled out the “Service Adjustment Agreement” form. There is a small ‘per mile’ fee for us to fulfill all of our mobile services known as our Mobile Service Fee. We provide free quotes and we offer free onsite evaluation if necessary (the onsite evaluation is free, however there will be a base charge of the Mobile Service Fee).
Do you offer any discount/promo codes?
Yes! So, we do offer a "Heroes of the Community" 10% off discount to all Active Duty military/Veterans, First Responders, and Teachers (verification required to receive) as a courtesy to give back to those who serve our community. Additional promotional codes are issued as we roll out promotional periods
